Think of it like a game of “hot potatoe”: pass it on as fast as you can to keep it exciting. The way ou pass it on is with a planned act of kindness. When you see a flamingo soldier, it will trigger your mind to think of kindness even in your future, when life is even busier and harder.

Go LONG: “Send It” by mailing your service, flamingo soldier, dogtag, and the challenge to someone in another part of the world!
Go STRONG: “Recruit” more Flamingos and Tags by ordering your own from a safe website of your choice to grow the flock.

**I am only the initiator of this activity.
Write a letter by hand to tell someone everything you love about them. * Shovel their driveway. * Give them a small gift you can afford and they'll appreciate. * Mentor someone that is willing to learn from your knowledge, skill, and experience. * Bake cookies or bread for them. * Go grocery shopping for them, or just drive to the store to pick bags up for them. * Make them dinner. * Buy them a flower. * Make them a card. * Write a letter of gratitude by hand for an active duty soldier. * Help with their yard work. * Walk their dog when they can't. * Make a small gift using your craft hobby. * Babysit for free. * Show the new kid around school. * Do their chores for a day. * Leave a huge tip at a restaurant for your favorite waiter or waitress. * Help them fix something broken. * Rake their leaves for free. * Give them a copy of a book that helped you in your life. * Draw them a pretty picture. * Help them move into their new home. * Help them load up as they move out (and remember to give them a big hug!). * Write a letter to your parents telling them all that you appreciate about them. * Buy a coworker their favorite morning drink. * Help them clean up the inside of their home. * Help them with their "to-do" list. * Tutor them for free. * Teach them your hobby for free. * Help them haul stuff to the dump. *
If you feel inconvenienced by this challenge activity, I apologize.
If you will be kind enough to act in favor of my mission,
there are a few ways you can not participate and still keep the flamingo soldier alive and actively serving.
A: The simplest option: kindly and respectfully return the flamingo to the person who did their best to serve you with kindness and tell them, “Thanks, but I choose to not participate. Please take the flamingo back.” They can take the soldier back in their care and keep the mission going as they try to serve another person in the next 7 days. If this option doesn‘t work or isn't possible, please try option B.
B: The next best option: Ask a friend, family member, or even a stranger to take the bird with the challenge and get it back into the activity of this global kindness challenge.
C: If neither A or B above are options, then please
Mail the soldier to ground zero where this whole activity launched from. The address is:
